Jamie refused to let his imagination linger on the dangers that lay ahead waiting for the waves of pain to recede (physical pain is such a joke). he was semi conscious, an automation. something outside him directed his movement. she lowered her eyes, afraid the stranger might read her wicked thoughts (telepathy ). her rebellious thoughts, the poor dreamer his life was being destroyed, God had chosen him -as he had once chosen Job. (LOL). "I'm a woman, I have a right to change my mind." HA. "y can't u be like other girls yer age?"
