so i shall write about a light in my life, my dear sweet darling sister, haley marie. ever since i can remember, you've been my best bud / my partner in spontaneity / a hero. i'm so sure those first 21 months without you were lonely, thank God you came along. every memory from my childhood is with you! -from making up dances/songs together &pretending i can sing like you.. to teaching our neighbors school during the summers &figuring out how to reconfigure the cable mom had disconnected.. playing everything together- "today show" /weather channel, home depot, scientist lab, to having shared a bedroom as kids &adults for 6 months, the sister song, & our 1st apartment together. that night, we ran around that farmhouse making all the noise we could because no one could tell us we were being too loud-ha! those many many months you made up my rent.. you have always bailed me out. i look back on that time so fondly &wouldn't have wanted to spend it with any one but you! <3 when you skipped school to get us iceys..&how you'd fuss over my decorating our places &my pasta sauce.. even at a young age you were sensitive to my being jealous that you were the 1 to make the "gifted &talented" program.. you are always thinking about someone else, hale. &everyone who knows you loves you! i'm just fortunate that you're my sister. your gentleness, love, joy, kindness, goodness, &faithfulness is what everyone can see in you. you're my biggest fan, my best encourager. if i am anything, it is because of the example my younger sister has set. "i miss you everyday." you have always been my best friend. i love you so much!

This warms my heart. You girls certainly did enjoy getting lost in play with one another when you were little. To see how close you are now as adults is a true blessing.
